Dr. Verma has played key roles in several national and international research studies. He was Co-Principal Investigator for the ICMR-led PLACID Trial on convalescent plasma therapy and Principal Investigator in multiple COVID-19 treatment trials involving drugs like Itolizumab, Remdesivir, and Pegylated Interferon. His research has been published in reputed journals including the British Medical Journal, Journal of Clinical Virology, and Frontiers in Microbiology.
Dr. Verma continues to contribute to both patient care and academic advancement through his clinical expertise, research participation, and active role in medical education.
